Turning The 90's Upside Down - unreleased

Review - The Boltons love 60s music. Their melodious pop-rock style has its roots there. Their favorite 60s bands include the Hollies, Dave Clark Five, Gerry & the Pacemakers, early BeeGees, Easybeats, and above all, THE SEARCHERS. The Boltons have learned about fifteen of the Searchers songs, and did record them. However, being unable to make all of the necessary copyright arrangements, it is not possible to release the material. You would have a good chance of hearing the songs at a concert, but only a handful of "official recordings" exist.

SOMEDAY WE'RE GONNA LOVE AGAIN - Beautifully sung by Kim or Carolyn, an orchestrated ballad version of the original rocker.
I'M READY - Good old rock and roll, heartfully sung by Rob.
SEA OF HEARTBREAK - Done country-style, Kim singing lead, while Julie and Carolyn do mock harmonies.
WHAT HAVE THEY DONE TO THE RAIN - Thunder and rain effects with plain-sounding folk guitars. A haunting sound.
LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLL - Aggressive guitars and piano, with Kim and Rob belting out the lyrics.
SWEETS FOR MY SWEET - A great fit, with room for three lead vocal spots, and great bouncy-rock guitar work.
WHERE HAVE ALL THE FLOWERS GONE - Full-sounding, sweet folk rock, easy to sing along to. Carolyn's response vocals aregreat.
DON'T THROW YOUR LOVE AWAY - Simplified version has Kim and the piano carrying the song.
EACH TIME - Very very Searchers-sounding guitars, plus an extra verse, sung by Rob and Julie.
WHEN YOU WALK IN THE ROOM - Fast, with a good guitar hook, and plenty of crowd response designed in.
NEEDLES AND PINS - Recordings exist with Rob doing the lead, and with Kim doing it, but with vocals adjusted for gender.
YOU WANT TO MAKE HER HAPPY - Country-style advice for any marriage: tell her that you love her everyday!
GOODNIGHT BABY - Julie's lead vocal fits perfectly, and the two accoustic guitars give a great sound.
WHAT'D I SAY - A Rob special, including great (for us) drumming, and crowd-inciting lyrics.
EVERYBODY COME CLAP YOUR HANDS - Another aggressive crowd-engager, fast, and energetic guitar and vocals.
